Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 | Box Score 3 Greenwood, SC- Lander defeated Erskine Monday in Greenwood, 6-3, giving the Bearcats the opening season series win over the Flying Fleet. Gregory Sanders led the Fleet offense going 2-4 and driving in two runs. Zach Overholt added the Fleet's other RBI. Connor Harrison took the loss giving up four runs on three hits but allowed only two earned runs.

Erskine won Game One of the series on Saturday in dramatic fashion. Trailing 6-3 going into the bottom of the 9th, the Fleet rallied to tie the score and then Drew Yniesta provide a two-out walk-off single to give Erskine a 7-6 victory. Lander won Game Two on Saturday, 17-6 before winning the decisive third game on Monday night.

The Fleet will be back in action on Tuesday at home at Grier Field as they host Wingate University.
