DUE WEST- Erskine junior Malcolm Green hit a running bank shot in the lane with twelve seconds remaining to give Erskine a 75-72 victory over Chowan in a critical Conference Carolinas victory on Saturday afternoon at the Galloway Center. Chowan was unable to manufacture a quality shot in the final seconds as the Fleet picked up their fourth conference win of the season. The win keeps the Fleet's hopes alive of making the Conference Carolinas Tournament at the end of February.

Freshman Emandi Brooks  scored a game-high 26 points including 6-10 from the 3-point line. Green added 13. Senior Trent Smoot grabbed 6 rebounds.  Erskine's Rod Culver scored seven straight points late in the game to push the Fleet ahead to 67-62 late in the game.
