Kannapolis, NC – Erskine completed an opening day double header sweep of Queens Friday afternoon, winning game one 17-3 and game two 7-2.
Game One
Six different players would have multiple hits on offense, led by
Antonio Falbo who was 3-4 with a double and three RBI's.
Corey Everett was 3-4 with two RBI's and two runs scored, while
Kyle Heiss was 2-3 with two doubles and two runs driven in.
Xander Vizzcorando,
Cole Warken and
Drew Yniesta each added two hits on the day.
Alex Calvert (1-0) picked up the win, allowing just two hits and striking out seven in four innings of work.
Game Two
Nick Vella led the Fleet at the plate going 4-4 with two RBI's, while
Cole Warken was 2-3 with a double, triple, RBI, and two runs scored. Yniesta, Heiss, and Everett all had one hit each for the Fleet.
Zach Carter (1-0) picked up the win allowing one run on three hits and striking out eight in four innings of work.
