Kannapolis, NC – Erskine and Queens split a double header Saturday. The Royals won game one 7-6 and the Fleet won game two 6-5.
Game One
Corey Everett Led the Fleet at the plate, going 2-3 with a home run and three RBI's.
Antonio Falbo was 2-3 with an RBI, while
Drew Yniesta was 1-3 with a double.
Trey Watts (0-1) took the loss allowing two runs on four hits and striking out two in one inning of work.
Game Two
Lucas Karz led the Fleet in game two going 3-3 with home run and double, while
Nick Vella was 2-4 with double, home run, and four RBI's.
Kyle Heiss also added a home run for the Fleet.
Zach Farmer (1-0) picked up the win allowing one run on three hits and striking out four in 1.2 innings of work.
Corey Cannon (1) recorded his first career save pitching a scoreless seventh inning and striking out one.
