Burlington, NC – Making her first start of the season, Sheridan Butcher threw a complete game shutout to lead the Fleet to a 3-0 victory over top seed and sixth-ranked Pfeiffer Friday night in a winner's bracket game.
 
Butcher (3-2) scattered seven hits over her seven innings and struck out two as she picked up her second win of the day.  Sydney Smith was 2-4 with two RBI's to lead the Fleet offense, while Reagan Davis was 2-4 with two runs scored and Brittany Reynolds was 2-4 with one run scored.  Sydney Grimes and Chandler Crawford had one hit apiece in the win.
 
The Fleet advance to play North Greenville tomorrow at 2:00 in another winner's bracket game.
