Carson Newman Defeats Erskine

Due West, SC – Carson-Newman swept a non-conference double header from Erskine Wednesday afternoon.  The Eagles won game one 4-0 and game two 4-1.
 
Game One
Reagan Davis led the Fleet at the plate going 2-3.  Lydia Trexler and Taylor Kennedy were each 1-2 on the day.  Sydney Davis (2-2) took the loss allowing one earned run on four hits and striking out four in four innings of work.
 
Game Two
 Brittany Reynolds was 1-4 with a triple and RBI for the Fleet in the second game, while Mia Blochaviak was 1-3 with a double.  Sydney Grimes, Baylee Browning, and Davis each had a single.  Candace Fitch (4-4) picked up the loss, allowing four runs on three hits and striking out two in 2.2 innings of work.
