Fleet Sweep Belmont Abbey

Due West, SC – Chandler Crawford blasted a two run walk off home run in game to give Erskine a 10-8 victory over Belmont Abbey and complete a sweep of the Crusaders.  The Fleet won game one 6-1. 
 
Game One
Sydney Grimes led the Fleet offense in game one going 3-4 with a run scored, while Sydney Smith was 2-2 with a run scored.  Crawford was 1-2 with a double and two RBI's and Jill Sprague was 1-1 with a double and two runs driven in.  Samantha Schmidt (4-8) picked up the win allowing one run on five hits and striking out two in 3.2 innings of work. 
 
Game Two
Mia Blochaviak was 2-3 with two runs scored, while Smith was 1-3 with a double and RBI.  Grimes was 1-1 off the bench with a run scored and Crawford had the home run and two RBI's.  Schmidt (5-8) picked up her second win of the day allowing just one hit in two scoreless innings of work.
