Due West, SC -  Erskine College pounded out 16 hits as they took a 17-7 victory over Salem International in the opening game of a three game series. 
 
Trevor Wood led the Fleet at the plate going 5-6 with a double, home run, and three RBI's, while Chaz Davey was 2-4 with two home runs and three runs driven in.  Chris Rave was a perfect 3-3 with three runs scored and Henry Faunce had two home runs.  Ian Kimbrell (1-0) picked up the win allowing two runs on three hits and striking out three in two innings of relief work.
