Due West, SC – The Flying Fleet completed a three game sweep of Salem International Saturday afternoon, winning game one 10-3 and game two 11-2.
Game One
Chaz Davey continued his hot start going 2-5 with two home runs and three RBI's, while
Trevor Wood was 2-4 with a home run and three runs driven in and
Chase Watts was 3-4 with two runs scored.
Austin Looker,
Destin Nichols, and
Kyle Heiss each added two hits.
Zack Bowers (1-1) picked up the win allowing two earned runs on six hits and striking out four in 5.1 innings of work.
Game Two
For the third straight game Davey had two home runs to lead the Fleet, while
Henry Faunce was 3-4 with two home runs and five RBI's to lead the offense.
Taylor Maxey was 2-3 with a run scored and
Tyler Bond was 1-2 with two RBI's.
Michael Carpin (2-0) picked up the win allowing two unearned runs on four hits and striking out eight in six innings of work.
