Anderson, SC – The Erskine College women's tennis team edged their rival Anderson University 5-4 Wednesday afternoon.
 
Molly Polk and Haley Elliot got things started for the Fleet winning their doubles match, followed by a victory by Miranda Guthrie and Mikaela Bennett in their match to give Erskine a 2-1 lead heading to the singles matches.  Bennett would win her singles match to increase the lead to 3-1, but the Trojans would win the next two matches to tie the match at three.  Paola Gullino and Rebecca Weaver would then win their singles matches to secure the victory for Erskine.
