Due West, SC – The Flying Fleet exploded for seven runs in the bottom of the seventh to break a 6-6 tie and go on for a 13-6 victory over Saginaw Valley State Wednesday afternoon.

In the bottom of the first, Sam Cothran would draw a leadoff walk and then Chase Watts would single, they would then score on a double by Henry Faunce to put Erskine up 2-0.  Chaz Dave would then double to score Faunce to make it a 3-0 game.  After the Cardinals scored a run in the top of the third, Faunce would blast his second home run in as many days in the bottom half of the inning to make it 6-1.  Saginaw Valley would score four runs in fourth and one in the fifth to tie the game at six.  The Fleet would blow the game open in the seventh and hold on for the win.

Faunce was 2-3 with a double, home run and five RBI's to lead the Fleet, while Davey was 3-5 with two doubles and two runs driven in.  Noah Hinzman (2-0) picked up the win with one inning of scoreless relief work.
