DUE WEST, SC - The Fleet rolled past the Lions of Emmanuel College, 3-0, in tonight's Conference Carolinas men's volleyball action.  There weren't many lead changes as the Fleet were able to run out to early leads in all 3 sets and the Lions could not manage a comeback.  
The Fleet won the 1st set 25-20 on the back of Roberto Perez's 7 kills and 
Alex Brandstetters 14 assists.  After running out to another early lead, the Fleet would win the 2nd set also by a 25-20 score.   The 2nd set saw a more balanced attack from the Fleet as 6 out of the 7 players that played in the set registered at least 1 kill, led by 4 more kills from Roberto Perez.  The 3rd set was marked by errors as the two teams combined for 14 service errors, but the Fleet would prevail 25-19 to win the match.  
For the match, Roberto Perez and 
Mike Michelau reached double digit kills with 13 and 10 respectively.  Brandstetter registered a match high 31 assists.  
The Fleet are back in action Saturday at 2 pm in Belk Arena as they take on the Pfeiffer University.  Both teams boast a 13-2 record in Conference Carolinas play.
