DUE WEST-- USC-Aiken won two doubles matches to propel the Pacers to a 6-3 win over the Erskine Women's Tennis Team in the Fleet's home opener on Thursday. Freshman Paola Gullino made a impressive debut for the Fleet, winning two points. Gullino teamed with senior Sarah McDonald to win 8-4 at #1 doubles. Guillino then defeated USC-Aiken's Kayla Calvert at #2 singles, 3-6, 6-4, 6-4. Fellow freshman Rachel Berkey picked up the Fleet's third point at #6 singles. Berkey defeated the Pacers Marta Janero, 6-2, 6-4. Erskine (0-1) will travel Saturday to play at North Georgia University.
