Laurinburg, NC- Senior Katherine Coleman's goal in the 67th minute was all Erskine needed to defeat St. Andrews on the road Wednesday afternoon, 1-0. The win was the Fleet's first of the season and gave 1st year head coach Robin Smith her inaugural career win. The victory also snapped an eight-game losing streak for Erskine dating back to last fall. Erskine senior goalie Ashton Burgess came up huge for the Fleet recording 15 saves in the shutout. Erskine (1-4) will try to win their second straight on Saturday at home when they entertain King University at 2 pm in a Conference Carolinas showdown.
