DUE WEST-- Despite Katherine Coleman's second goal in consecutive games the Erskine Women's Soccer Team fell at home to Conference Carolinas foe King on Saturday afternoon at Huggins Field, 3-1. The Tornado struck for two first half goals by Rachel Thorpe and Kara Garrett to take a 2-0 halftime lead. Garrett scored her 2nd of the game at 72:26 to push the King lead to 3-0. Coleman scored shortly after in the 73rd minute on an assist from sophomore Molly Graham. King dominated the contest with 22 shots to the Fleet's 5. Senior goalkeeper Ashton Burgess made 9 saves on the afternoon. Erskine falls to 1-4 on the season and 0-2 in Conference Carolinas.
