Box Score Due West, SC – Newberry College scored 11 runs in two innings and went on to an 18-6 victory over Erskine College Monday afternoon in non conference baseball action.

Joey Wilson would single in the top of the first and score on a sacrifice fly by Logan Galliher to give Erskine (31-13) the early lead.  Newberry (29-16) would then score five in the second and six in the third to break open the game.

Zach Smith led the Fleet at the plate going 3-5 with an RBI, while Brandon Overstreet and Wilson added two hits each.  Andrew Kozak hit a home run and drove in two.  Kyle Foster (4-4) took the loss allowing seven earned runs on 10 hits in 2.1 innings pitched.
