Franklin Springs, Ga. – After having their last two matches postponed due to inclement weather, the Erskine Women's Tennis Team (6-5, 6-1) returned to the court with a convincing 9 to 0 win over the host Emmanuel College Lions this afternoon.
 
Erskine dominated all six matches, winning the other three matches by default as Emmanuel only had 4 healthy players.  Erskine won the two doubles matches 8-1 and 8-0 then proceeded to sweep the four singles matches in straight sets.  Miranda Guthrie (Suwanee, GA, Home-schooled) won at #1 singles 6-1, 6-1 to improve to a team-best 9-3 on the season.
 
Erskine will play conference foe Pfeiffer University on Monday before leaving on their spring break trip to Hilton Head Island where they will play three matches.
