Due West, S.C. – The Erskine Flying Fleet (2-3, 2-0) breezed past the King University Tornado (1-6, 1-2) 9 to 0 this afternoon in Conference Carolinas women's tennis action at the Erskine College Tennis Complex.
 
Erskine won all three doubles matches to grab an early lead in the match.  Mika Goyette (Montreal, Quebec, Ecole Secondaire De Mortague) and Mikaela Bennett (Calgary, Canada, National Sports HIgh School) shutout their opponent, winning 8 to 0 at #2 doubles.
 
The Fleet dominated singles matches, winning all six in straight sets.  Both Miranda Guthrie (Suwanee, GA, Home-schooled) and Bennett won 6-0, 6-0.
 
Erskine hosts in-state conference foe Converse College on Wednesday starting at 2:30 p.m.
