U.S. News and World Report has rated Erskine College highest among all NCAA Division II liberal arts institutions in the Southeast Region in the recently released 2014 Best Colleges and Universities publication. Erskine is ranked 178th nationally among all liberal arts colleges and 8th nationally among all NCAA Division II liberals arts schools. Erskine is the only liberal arts college ranked nationally in the NCAA Division II Southeast Region. Schools not ranked nationally in the publication are ranked regionally.
The U.S. News and World Report ranking comes on the heels of
Forbes magazine's Best Colleges rankings, which also listed Erskine as the top liberal arts college in the NCAA Division II Southeast Region.

Forbes are confirming in their rankings is what we already believed- that Erskine College is at the top of instutional quality among NCAA Division II schools in our region. We are Erskine and we are proud to soar high, courageously, and united," remarked Vice-President for Intercollegiate Athletics Mark Peeler.
Erskine is coming off its finest year ever in athletics and academics since joining NCAA Division II in 1992. Erskine finished 4th overall in the Conference Carolinas' Joby Hawn Cup which included four conference champions in 2013-14. Erskine student-athletes achieved a cumulative GPA of 2.95 in the classroom while having a record number of students named to the Conference Carolinas Presidential Honor Roll.
