Columbus, Ga. – The Erskine Flying Fleet (18-6) were blanked 5-0 by the #9 ranked Cougars of Columbus State University this morning in the NCAA Women's Tennis Southeast Regional Tournament at the Mary V. Blackmon Tennis Center.
The Flying Fleet quickly found themselves trailing 3-0 after the Cougars swept the three doubles matches.
In the six singles matches, Columbus State's Olivera Tadijin beat freshman
Mollie Polk (Round O, SC, Pinewood Preparatory School) in straight sets to claim their fourth point. CSU's Paola Cigui, who is ranked #3 in nation, defeated senior
Corin Hallman (Mt. Pleasant, SC, Wando High School) 6-2, 6-1 to secure the fifth point and win the match for the Cougars.

Haley Elliott (Simpsonville, SC, Mauldin High School) was leading her opponent 7-5, 1-0 when the match point was decided while junior
Mika Goyette (Brossard, Quebec, Ecole Secondaire De Mortague) was leading in her second set after dropping her first set.
Columbus State advances to play the winner of #3 Flagler vs #6 Georgia College tomorrow.
