Corin Hallman (Mt. Pleasant, SC, Wando High School) led the Flying Fleet (15-5, 9-0) to a 9 to 0 victory over the visiting Crusaders of North Greenville University (3-16, 3-5) this afternoon in Conference Carolinas women's tennis action at the Erskine College Tennis Complex.
Hallman won both her matches today, defeating Susane Leuz in straight sets and, along with her doubles partner
Mika Goyette (Brossard, Quebec, Ecole Secondaire De Mortague), won their doubles match 8-6. Hallman was undefeated in conference play for the second straight year and the third time in her career. Hallman last lost a conference singles match back in her sophomore year, and currently owns a 21 conference match win streak.
During Hallman's career, Erskine never lost a conference match, going a perfect 39-0 while winning four regular season and three tournament conference titles.
Erskine will seek their 10
th straight tournament title starting next Friday, April 25
th. Erskine enters the tournament as the #1 seed and will play #8 seed Converse College in the opening round of the tournament.
