Following hitting for the cycle on Friday, Overstreet again led the Fleet at the plate going 2-3 with a home run and three RBIs.  Smith finished the game 2-4 with three runs driven in and Corn was 2-4 with a double and two runs scored.  Wes Schuler (Spartanburg, SC, USC Sumter) (4-1) had a dominating performance in his first start of the season allowing just two hits and striking out five in a complete game shutout.

The lead would be short lived as Allen Staton would hit a solo home run to center field in the top of the third to tie the game.  Smith would answer in the bottom of the inning with a solo home run of his own to give the Fleet the lead again.

North Greenville would tie the game in the top of the fourth when Lipscomb singled and later scored on a wild pitch.  With no one on and two outs in the bottom of the fourth, Lollis would double to left field and then score on a single by Kozak to put Erskine up by one.  After a single by Overstreet, Corn would line a double to left center to score two and make it a 7-4 game.  The Fleet would add four more runs in the fifth to increase their lead to seven.  After scoring two runs in the sixth to cut the Erskine lead to five, the Crusaders would add three more in the seventh to make it a 11-9 game.  With a runner on and one out in the eighth, Cody Dysart (Greenwood, SC, Greenwood HS) would come into the game and retire the next two batters and pitch a perfect ninth to pick up his first save of the season.
