Due West, S.C. Erskine's Corin Hallman (Mt. Pleasant, SC, Wando High School) has been selected as the NCAA Division II Conference Carolinas Women's Tennis Player of the Week during week five of the 2013 - 2014 tennis season according to a recent announcement made by the conference office.  It is the second time this season that the returning Conference Carolinas Player of the Year has won the award.

In the Flying Fleet's lone match of the week, Hallman did not yield a game in either her singles or doubles match. Hallman and her doubles partner Mika Goyette (Brossard, Quebec, Ecole Secondaire De Mortague) blistered their King opponents 8-0 in doubles and Hallman followed it up with a 6-0, 6-0 rout in her singles match.

With the win against conference foe King University, Erskine remains perfect in conference play at 5-0 and is currently 8-3 overall.
