Box Score Due West, SC – Freshman Destin Nichols (Tampa, FL, Berkley Prep) blasted three home runs to lead Erskine to a 13-0 victory over Georgia Regents University Friday afternoon.

The Fleet (11-2) got on the board with two runs in the bottom of the first.  Andrew Kozak (Sidney, NY, Hudson Valley CC) led off with a double and scored on a single by Logan Galliher (Taylorsville, NC, Alexander Central HS).  Nichols would follow with a single to score Zach Smith (Lexington, SC, White Knoll HS) who had walked earlier in the inning.  In the bottom of the third, Smith would hit a one out solo home run and Nichols would hit a two run home run to increase the lead to five.  Erskine would add eight more runs over the next five inning to take the victory.

Nichols was a perfect 4-4 and drove in six runs to lead the Fleet, while Galliher was 3-5 with two runs driven in and Smith was 2-3 with three RBI's. Kozak added three hits and Tanner Lollis (Williamston, SC, Palmetto HS), Cody Spence (Belton, SC, Belton-Honea Path HS), and Brandon Overstreet (Stuart, FL, Herkimer CC) each had two hits.  Zach McAllister (Simpsonville, SC, Hillcrest HS) (2-1) picked up the win allowing five hits and striking out three in seven scoreless innings of work. 

Erskine returns to action tomorrow as they travel to Augusta, GA to play Lindenwood University at 1:00 pm.
