Due West, S.C. – The Erskine women’s tennis team continued their quest for an eighth conference title by defeating Limestone College 7 to 2 in women’s tennis action at the Erskine College Tennis Complex.  Erskine is now 13-5 overall and undefeated in conference action at 8-0.

Erskine won two of three doubles matches to take a 2 to 1 lead into the singles matches.  Erskine won at #1 and #3 doubles but lost a tight match, 9-7, at #2 doubles.

Erskine dominated the singles matches, winning five of six, all in straight sets.

Erskine plays their third match in as many days tomorrow when the Falcons of Pfeiffer University visits Due West.  Tomorrow’s match will most likely decide the conference championship as both teams are currently undefeated in conference play.  The match is set to start at 2:30 p.m.
