Due West, S.C. – Erskine wasted little time disposing of Coker winning 9-0 this afternoon in Conference Carolinas women’s tennis action at the Erskine College Tennis Complex.
With the victory, Erskine remains perfect in conference play at 7-0 and improves to 11-5 overall.
The only match Coker seriously threatened the Fleet was in the #1 doubles match.
Corin Hallman (Mt. Pleasant, SC, Wando High School) and
Mika Goyette (Brossard, Quebec, Ecole Secondaire De Mortagne) triumphed over Daniela Chipe and Jessi Campos 8 to 6.
Erskine swept through the singles matches to win the match 9-0.
Due to injuries, Coker only had four healthy players available for today’s match and had to default at #3 doubles and #5 and #6 singles.
Erskine travels to play archrival Anderson University on Monday beginning at 3:30 p.m.
