Due West, SC – Erskine College lost to local rival Lander University 15-1 Wednesday afternoon in non conference baseball action.

The Bearcats would score 10 runs in the first three innings and cruised on to the victory.

Connor Gibson (Greer, SC, Riverside High School) came off the bench and was 1-2 to lead the Fleet, while Drew Willingham (Greenwood, SC, Greenwood HS) was 1-4 with a double.  Logan Galliher (Taylorsville, NC, Alexander Central HS) and Austin Gambrell (Belton, SC, Spartanburg Methodist College) each added a hit in the loss.  Dustin Sherbert (Mayo, SC, Chesnee HS) (2-2) took the loss allowing two earned runs on four hits in 1.2 innings of work.

Erskine returns to action Friday as they hit the road to play North Greenville at 2:30.
