Due West, S.C. – Erskine (8-4, 6-0) lost to #2 BYU-Hawaii 9-0 this afternoon in non-conference women’s tennis action at the Erskine College Tennis Complex.
The Seasiders (12-1) breezed through the doubles competition taking all three matches.
Despite losing the six single matches in straight sets, Erskine played much better. At #2 singles,
Miranda Guthrie (Suwanee, GA, Home-schooled) lost her first set in the tie-breaker while both
Mika Goyette (Brossard, Quebec, Ecole Secondaire De Mortagne) and
Sarah McDonald (Cottageville, SC, Colleton Preparatory Academy) also lost close first sets 7-5.
Using their spring break, Erskine will to Hilton Head, South Carolina, this week to play three non-conference matches.
