Men's Cross Country

Erskine Men's XC competes at NCAA Southeast Region Meet

Charlotte, N.C. – The Erskine Men's Cross Country Team concluded their 2013 season with a 26th place finish in the NCAA Southeast Region Meet hosted by Queens University at McAlpine Park.

Freshman James Gregory (Indian Land, SC, Indian Land High School) led the Fleet, finishing in the 10k course in 111th place in a time of 35:35.  Junior Richard Borrero (Orlando, FL, Cypress Creek High School) was next to cross the line, finishing in 135th place (36:35).  SeniorNick Westhead (Anderson, SC, Pendleton High School) concluded his career with his best time of 37:37 in 153rd place.  Tyler Hansen (Pendleton, SC, Pendleton High School) and Carlos Unda (Hendersonville, NC, Hendersonville Christian Academy) rounded out the scoring for the Fleet coming in 161st and 166th with times of 38:31 and 39:20 respectively.

Mt. Olive's Dylan Lafond won the event in 30:51 as Mt. Olive also won the team competition as well.  King University finished second.
