Box Score Due West, S.C. – After falling behind 2-1, Erskine rallied to win the next two sets to defeat Pfeiffer 3-2 (21-25, 25-19, 21-25, 25-21, 15-7) this afternoon in Conference Carolinas women's volleyball action at Belk Arena.
Junior
Caitlin Bullock (Lexington, SC, White Knoll High School) knocked down a season-high 21 kills along with 9 kills, 2 blocks and 3 service aces to lead the Fleet comeback. Freshman
A.J. Campbell (Pilot Point, TX, Pilot Point HIgh School)also contributed 12 kills with 3 blocks while setter
Megan Johnson (Little River, SC, Scholars Academy) handed out 37 assists. Senior
Anna Butrym (West Columbia, SC, White Knoll High School) once again anchored the back row with a game-high 18 digs.
The Falcons were led by Anna Vizvary and Shelby Younger, each had 11 kills. Younger also had 13 digs to earn the famed double-double.
With the win, Erskine remains in the hunt to host in the first round of the conference tournament. The Fleet currently sit in 6
th place but are just one game out our 4
th place.
Erskine will travel to play King University on Tuesday. Game time is set for 7:00 p.m.
