With a first round bye, Hallman quickly advanced to the semi-finals with two straight set victories. Meanwhile, freshman teammate
Miranda Guthrie breezed through her half of the bracket with three straight set victories to face Hallman. In another upset, the freshman prevailed over the two-time defending champion to advance to the championship against the #2 seed Christina Rustscheff of Queens University. On the other side of the bracket, Goyette,

Schulte lost to Lees-McRae’s Samantha Wohlers, the #3 seed, in the next round to drop into the consolation bracket. Schulte won her next four matches, including a thrilling 7-6, 7-6 match in the finals, to win the bracket.
In doubles play, it was the young freshmen duo of McDonald and Guthrie advancing to the finals, where they lost a tight match 8-6 to Pfeiffer’s Taylor Lindsay and Valeria Mendoza. Hallman and Goyette received the #2 seed and advanced to the semi-finals, where they were eliminated by McDonald and Guthrie. O’Reilly and Stephens won their first match but lost to the #3 seed to end their run.
