Due West, SC – The Erskine Women’s Volleyball Team seeks to “Blackout” Belk Arena for their home opener this Friday night against Barton College starting at 7:00 p.m.   Fans are encouraged to wear black as the Flying Fleet opens conference play.   Immediately following the game, the Erskine Men’s Volleyball Team will take the floor for their first ever practice.  Admission is free to both events.

Fleet fans attending the game will have a chance to win a “BLACKOUT” Cake from the Cheesecake Factory or a $100 Snapper’s Gift Card in addition to other great prizes.  The winners will be announced during the men’s volleyball team’s practice session and must be present to claim their prize.

HOW TO WIN THE “BLACK OUT” CAKE OR $100 SNAPPER’S GIFT CARD

• During the women’s volleyball game, every time there is a break in the action for a time out or after each set, men’s volleyball players will handout tickets.  Please only one ticket per stoppage in play.  There will also be a couple of times during the men’s volleyball practice that additional tickets will be available for the drawing.  At the end of the Men’s Volleyball practice, two names will be drawn for the “Black Out” cake (can be won by anyone in attendance) and the $100 gift card to Snapper’s (winner will be an Erskine student).
