DUE WEST, S.C. – The Erskine College women's volleyball team (1-8, 0-1 CC) was defeated by the University of Mount Olive (5-5, 1-1 CC) in four sets in the Phillips Auxiliary Gym on Friday evening in the Fleet's first home match of the season.

Erskine hit .187 (48 K / 20 E / 150 A) for the match, while the Trojans posted a .246 hitting percentage. The Fleet hit an impressive .333 in their opening set win and battled from behind throughout the fourth set but were unable to get over the hump to force a fifth set.
