Top seeded North Greenville’s only run came in the bottom of the first, as they held on to win 1-0 over Erskine College.

The lone run was driven in on a solo home run by Sarah Armstrong in the bottom of the first.  Rachel Glazebrook and Karli Taylor each had a hit.  Glazebrook went all seven innings as the winning pitcher, allowing seven hits, and striking out 11 hitters. 

Erskine first baseman Colleen Gardner (Matthews, NC, Butler High School) went 2-for-3.  Five other Fleet members picked up a hit.  Heather Richey went six innings and allowed only one run.  She also struck out three hitters. 

North Greenville will play the winner of Coker versus King and they are now 2-0.  Erksine is 1-1, and will play Queens.
