Tigerville, S.C. – Erskine defeated North Greenville University this afternoon 9-0 in Conference Carolinas women’s tennis action.  With the win, Erskine has now won their last eight matches to improve to 19-3 overall and 10-0 in conference.  North Greenville University falls to 4-9 overall and 4-6 in conference.

Erskine raced through the three doubles matches, winning 8-3, 8-1, and 8-0, to take a 3-0 lead into the singles competition.

Erskine continued to dominate the match, winning all six singles matches in straight sets. 

Erskine concludes their regular season on Saturday against Queens University.  Queens is also undefeated in conference play.  The winner will clinch the regular season title and the #1 seed in the upcoming conference tournament to be played next weekend at the Palmetto Tennis Center in Sumter, South Carolina.  Erskine College is the host institution.
