Erskine’s Sandra Campbell (Pilot Point, TX, Point Pilot HS) opened the game scoring three of the team’s first four points on two kills and a block.  After surrendering a point on a service error, Erskine lengthened their lead to 10-3 forcing NGU to take a timeout.  NGU climbed back to within two points only to see the Fleet go on another run to win the first set 25 -15.

The Fleet grabbed an early lead in the second set behind a couple of kills by senior Jamie Murray (Hermann, MO, Hermann HS) and a service ace by junior Alicia Bragg (Rock Hill, SC, Rock Hill High School).  The Fleet blew open the second set with a 6-0 run highlighted by a kill by Bragg and a terrific block by Liz Massey (Greenville, SC, Eastside High School) and Lauren Stewart (Hartwell, GA, Hart County High School).  After swapping several points, Erskine closed out the set on a 6-1 run to win 25-14.
