Due West, SC – The Erskine Women’s Tennis won their last home match of the season 9-0 over visiting North Greenville University today in non-conference women’s tennis action at the Erskine College Tennis Complex.  With the victory, Erskine improves to 14-4 overall while North Greenville University slips to 6-7.

Erskine easily swept the singles matches, winning all six in straight sets.  Erskine also took the three doubles matches in similar fashion winning 8-5, 8-3 and 8-2.

Today’s home match was the last for senior Britton Bignon (Athens, GA, Oconee County High School).  Her senior season has been her career best, posting a team-best 15-3 singles record, including 8-0 in conference play.  In doubles play, Bignon and doubles partner Tessa Rheault (Levis, Quebec, Canada, Ecole Pointe Levy) own a team-best 13-5 record and are undefeated at 8-0 in conference play.

Erskine travels to Lees-McRae College on Saturday for their last regular season match.  The match begins at noon.
