Due West, SC – The Erskine Women’s Tennis rebounded from their first loss to beat Coker College 9-0 in Conference Carolinas women’s tennis action at the Erskine College Tennis Complex.  The Lady Fleet improve to 4-1 overall and 3-0 in conference.

Erskine swept the doubles matches earning three points.  The closest match was at the #1 doubles pairing where Tessa Rheault (Levis, Quebec, Canada, Ecole Pointe Levy) and Britton Bignon (Athens, GA, Oconee County High School) worked hard to defeat Alyssa Blanchard and Stephanie 9-7.  Erskine easily won the other two doubles matches 8-3 and 8-1.

Erskine took all six singles matches in convincing fashion.   Freshman Kathryn Sailors (St. Marys, GA, Camden County High School) won her first singles collegiate match defeating Faith Baxley 6-3 and 6-0.

Erskine is off until next weekend when they travel to Barton College on Friday and Mt. Olive College on Saturday.
