Wilson, NC – The Flying Fleet lost their second game of the Conference Carolinas tournament to fourth seeded Pfeiffer University 6-3 Friday night.

Zach McCarthy (Spartanburg, SC, Byrnes HS) was the lone Erskine player with two hits, including a home run and run batted in. Luke Danielewicz (Spartanburg, SC, Dorman High School) and Chas Anthony (Pickens, SC, Pickens High School) both had a single and RBI in the loss. John Bolding (Pickens, SC, Pickens HS) added a double, while Greg Huff (McDonough, GA, Henry County High School) had a single. William Buzhardt (Columbia, SC, Ben Lippen High School) took the loss allowing five runs in two-thirds of an inning.

The Fleet will play Anderson at 11:00 Saturday in an elimination game, and if they win that game they will play Pfeiffer Saturday at 7:00 pm.
