Anderson, SC – Anderson University swept a double header from Erskine College Monday afternoon in Conference Carolinas baseball action.

In game one, the Fleet were led at the plate by Chas Anthony (Pickens, SC, Pickens High School) who was 3-5 with a home run and four RBIs, while John Bolding (Pickens, SC, Pickens HS) was 2-5 with a double, home run and two runs driven in. Mo Seay (Anderson, SC, Wofford) finished the game 2-3 with a home run and one run batted in and Shawn Glover (Columbia, SC, Richland Northeast High School) was 2-2 with an RBI. Greg Huff (McDonough, GA, Henry County High School) also added his first home run of the season in the loss. William Buzhardt (Columbia, SC, Ben Lippen High School) took the loss allowing nine runs (one earned) in 2.1 innings of work.

In game two, Erskine was led by Seay who was 2-2 with a run scored while Matt Youngblood (Travelers Rest, SC, Blue Ridge CC) was 1-3 and drove in the lone Fleet run. Casey Winckowski (Oregon, OH, Owens CC), Huff, and Drew Willingham (Greenwood, SC, Greenwood HS) also added a hit each. Russell Reid (Hudson, NC, South Caldwell HS) picked up the loss allowing four runs in 3.1 innings of work.

The Fleet return to action tomorrow as they host Brevard College at 2:30.
