Due West, SC- For Erskine homecoming weekend, the men's soccer team hosted Pfeiffer in a grueling match that ended in a 0-0 tie after double overtime.  The tie leaves the Fleet record at 5-6-2.

A strong defensive stance by the Fleet held off the aggressive Pfeiffer offense.  The stand out performance of the evening came from senior goalkeeper Jimmy Turner who made several amazing saves to keep the Fleet in the game.  Turner had a total of 5 saves on the evening.  Without his efforts, the Fleet would have surely fell on this homecoming weekend, as the Fleet were out-shot 9-3. 

The Fleet will be back in action this coming week as they take on Belmont Abbey on the road.
