SUMTER,SC-- The Erskine women's tennis team rallied from a 2-1 deficit in doubles to claim four singles matches over Mt. Olive College, earning the Fleet their 5th straight Conference Carolinas Tennis Championship Sunday afternoon at the Palmetto Tennis Center. Erskine got singles wins from all-tourney performers Tessa Rheault and Britton Bignon, along with Mary Claire Rollins. The hero of the day and the tournament for Erskine proved to be tournament MVP Jourdan Smith. The freshman earned two points in singles and doubles in both the semifinals and finals for Erskine. Erskine will next play in the Southeast Regional at a site yet to be determined. In the men's final, Anderson University claimed their 6th straight title, 5-1, over Lees McRae College.
