DUE WESt-- The Erskine Athletic Department will host the Flying Fleet Festival at Cherokee Trails Elementary School on Friday, May 8th. Each Erskine athletic team will coordinate an event as part of the school's field day activities. Grades 4k-7th grade will have an opportunity to participate in 11 events during the day along with each class participating in a dodgeball tournament. Randy Moore, Erskine's Aramark General Manager, will supply refreshments in the form of icees, popcorn, and cotton candy. Awards will be given in each grade for each event and a class spirit award will be presented at the closing ceremonies.

"This should be great fun for the students at Cherokee Trails and for our student-athletes as well. We look for any way we can to engage Erskine athletics with our community. I think this will be an exciting event for all involved," remarked Erskine Director fo Athletics Mark Peeler.
