Coach Colin Wilson joined the Fleet program in 2019 and is currently in his fourth season.
As the assistant coach, Wilson works with the goalkeepers as well as assists with recruiting and daily training operations. In 2019, Wilson helped the Fleet to their first NCCAA South Region Championship. In 2020, they went back-to-back with another NCCAA South Region Championship.
Prior to joining the Fleet, Coach Wilson was the second assistant at Georgia Gwinnett College for five years. While there, the Grizzlies earned double digit winning seasons each year and coach Wilson left with back-to-back A.I.I. Conference championships and NAIA top 25 national rankings.
Prior to joining the Grizzlies, Coach Wilson was the assistant coach and assistant GM with the Georgia Revolution WPSL. While there, he worked with the goalkeepers and assisted with recruiting, public relations, travel, and game day operations.
Along with collegiate coaching, Wilson worked with various youth clubs in Georgia and South Carolina such as RYSA, DDY, and Chiefs FC. He was also a referee for five years, officiating youth, high school, and adult leagues.
Coach Wilson currently holds a U.S. National B Coaching License, U.S. National Youth Coaching License, United Soccer Coaches Advanced National Coaching Diploma, United Soccer Coaches Level 2 Goalkeeper Diploma, and United Soccer Coaches Level 2 Game Analysis Diploma. He also graduated from Georgia State University in 2010 with a Bachelor of Arts and is an Atlanta native. He is married to Vidya and together they have a son named Calum.
