Erskine College Athletics

Middle Blocker from Laguna Beach High School in Southern California, Barry is a three year letter winner, 3 year all-league selection for the Breakers – one of the most storied California Boys Volleyball Programs. The Breakers won their 11th straight league title in 2017, and have also won 90 consecutive league matches (still active). They were California State Regional D-III Champions in 2015 (their 5th Title), and the Breakers reached the CIF Section Semis/Qtrs in 2016 & 2017. 


Greenough holds the School’s single season record net-season blocks with 58.5 in 2017, and also holds the 2ndall-time mark of 53.5 set in 2016. He is the career leader in School History for total blocks with 145.5, and is also the career leader in Solo Blocks with 40. His career total blocks per a set @ 0.591 is also at the top of the leader board. 
Greenough played for Manhattan Beach Volleyball Club in 2016 & 2017 as a member of the Back-to-Back 18-Open Division Bronze Medalist - MB Surf 18-1 Asics. 


Barry is the Son of Jeff and April, and the brother of Erskine’s own Marissa Greenough (2013-2016), a 2X All-Conference selection with 700+ career kills. He has chosen Business Administration as his major, and is excited to follow in his Sister’s footsteps. 


High School Career: 
Senior: 1st Team All-League, 3rd Team All County, All Tournament at the 42nd Dos Pueblos Tournament, All Tournament at the 47th Redondo Beach Tournament, Coaches Award 

Junior: 2nd Team All-League 

Sophomore: 2nd Team All-League, Won State Title 

Freshman – Top JV Team in SoCal won 2 of 3 Tournaments

Academic Awards: Honor Roll Honorable Mention 2016
