Thomas Holland enters his eighth year with the Erskine baseball program. After graduating from Erskine in 2000, he stayed on at his alma mater, helping with both sports information as well as the baseball program. Holland is responsible for helping in many different aspects in the program including recruiting, strength and conditioning, field maintenence, and compiling scouting reports. In his seven years with the Fleet, the program has seen significant improvements, including setting the school record for wins with 42 in 2006. Over the last five seasons Erskine has averaged almost 37 wins a sseason, while having four players drafted in the last two years and in 2005 had the NCBWA National Player of the Year in Casey Smith. The Fleet have also been ranked in the top 10 in the almost every major offensive categories year in and year out. Thomas is a native of Pickens, SC and currently lives in Due West.
