Nathan Kilcrease enters his first season as pitching coach for the Flying Fleet.  Prior to Erskine he served as an assistant coach at the University of Alabama for the last two seasons.  

Nathan played four years for the Crimson Tide, where he holds numerous career records.  He ranks first all-time with 88 career appearances, sixth all-time with 23 career wins, and seventh with 240 career strikeouts. 

In his senior season with the Tide, Kilcrease excelled as a starter going 8-4 in 16 starts while tossing two complete games and earning one shutout. For the season, he sported a 3.12 ERA and held opposing hitters to a lowly .255 batting average. The righty also struck out 88 batters, 25 of which were looking, team-highs in both categories.

Following his career at Alabama, the Oakland Athletics drafted Kilcrease in 2011.  He played in both the Athletics organization and the Pittsburgh Pirates organizations before returning to Alabama in 2014 as a student assistant, completing his degree in human environmental sciences.
