YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. – The Erskine College softball team (3-15, 1-3 CC) was defeated by Young Harris College (11-11, 3-1 CC) in both games of a doubleheader at the YHC Softball Field on Saturday.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Game 1: Young Harris 9-0 Erskine (Final / 5 innings)
Continuing conference play on the road on Saturday, the Fleet gave up a pair of runs in the first inning and then the hosts used a six-run second to put the Fleet in a sizeable early deficit. Kennedy Crouch, Ava Rogers, and Emily Johnson each recorded hits in the Erskine lineup.

Game 2: Young Harris 12-0 Erskine (Final / 5 innings)
In the back half of the doubleheader, the Mountain Lions scored in each of their four trips to the plate, and the Fleet were not able to keep up with YHC's high-powered offense.

WHAT'S NEXT?
Erskine concludes this stretch of road games to begin conference play with a trip back to Georgia to take on Emmanuel University (3-15, 3-3 CC) for a doubleheader on Wednesday, starting at 1 p.m.
