HOW IT HAPPENED
The Fleet offensively were held in check through the first three frames, but starting pitcher
Zach Kehn, matched zeroes with the Bobcats starter until the fourth, when Georgia College broke through to open the scoring. The visitors added a pair of runs in the sixth and seventh innings to put the Fleet in a 5-0 deficit. Erskine got on the board in the eighth with a
Pierce Radke RBI single and a double steal that allowed
Mason McManus to score as the Fleet attempted a late push to make things interesting but were unable to get any closer.
WHAT'S NEXT?
Erskine hosts Southern Wesleyan University (6-13, 2-7 CC) for a three-game series, starting Friday at 2 p.m.
