DUE WEST, S.C. – The Erskine College women's tennis team defeated Augusta University by a 4-3 scoreline at the Sloan-Cox Tennis Courts in the Fleet's 2026 season opener on Friday.

With the overall score tied at three, the match came down to Barbara Brito vs Camila Taborga's inidividual match at the No. 5 singles position, and the freshman won the fourth and deciding point in a winner-take-all third set.
